• 2+ years of experience working with supply chain, procurement, purchasing, inventory, item master, or related data management functions.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, VLOOKUPs, and PivotTables.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy and integrity.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
• Experience with item master data management in a healthcare setting.
• Experience working with medical/surgical supplies, pharmaceuticals, or capital equipment.
Knowledge of item classification systems such as UNSPSC, GTIN, and manufacturer part numbers.

Job Description

Supply Chain Analyst
A client of Insight Global is hiring a Supply Chain Analyst to support the creation, maintenance, and optimization of item master data within its procurement system. This individual will ensure product records are accurate, standardized, and readily available across the organization. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and experienced working with healthcare supply chain data and purchasing operations.

Work Environment
This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days onsite and 2 days remote each week.

Compensation
$20.00/hr - $25.00/hr

Key Responsibilities
• Create, update, and maintain item records within the procurement system.
• Ensure accurate item descriptions, units of measure (UOM), vendor information, pricing, and classifications.
• Assist with data audits to identify duplicate, inactive, or outdated records.
• Validate and enrich item data using manufacturer catalogs, GPO information, and industry standards such as UNSPSC and GTIN.
• Support pricing validation and contract compliance efforts.
• Assist with product conversions and item cross-referencing activities.
• Partner with suppliers, purchasing teams, and clinical stakeholders to maintain data integrity and product availability.
