Qualifications:

  • Current ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology, with IR specialty preferred
  • Previous experience as an IR Tech in a hospital or clinical environment
  • Proficiency in Interventional Radiology imaging procedures and protocols
  • Active state license or eligibility to obtain one in North Carolina
  • BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform imaging procedures in the Interventional Radiology suite as ordered by physicians
  • Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and safety
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment with meticulous attention to safety protocols
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other team members for effective patient care
  • Accurately document procedures and patient data
  • Maintain compliance with all organizational and regulatory guidelines
