Job Description
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students across PreK-12th grade as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This leave coverage position begins September 1st and extends for 10 weeks, concluding around November 6th. You’ll play a crucial role in a school setting, providing consistent and compassionate care to a caseload of approximately 40 students.
Key Qualifications:
- Current Speech-Language Pathology license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- School-based SLP experience preferred
- Strong skills in evaluation, treatment planning, and progress tracking
- Excellent communication and collaboration with educators and families
- Ability to adapt techniques to a diverse PreK-12th grade population
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language intervention services to students across a range of grades and needs
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and document progress
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and other team members to develop comprehensive support strategies
- Foster a supportive environment to help students achieve academic and communication goals
- Communicate effectively with families and caregivers regarding student progress and goals
- Maintain detailed and timely student records in accordance with school policies
