Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Fort Benning, GA

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active state licensure as an SLP or the ability to obtain prior to starting
• Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and families
• Compassionate, student-focused approach to delivering therapy services

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Conduct assessments and screenings to evaluate students’ speech, language, and communication needs
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy goals
• Provide direct therapeutic services, both individual and group, tailored to student needs
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with district and legal requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings, team consultations, and parent conferences
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate communication strategies into the classroom environment
• Offer support and resources to families for carryover of skills at home
