Make a difference in the lives of students while advancing your career as a school-based Physical Therapist in a supportive, collaborative environment. This rewarding contract opportunity is located near Everett, WA, with assignment dates from September 2, 2026, to June 15, 2026. Work a flexible 0.4 FTE schedule (14-16 hours per week) and serve an engaging caseload comprised of Pre-K through Transition students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and assess students’ motor and physical development to inform Individualized Education Program (IEP) and 504 plan teams.
  • Collaborate with educational staff to coordinate PT interventions in a school setting.
  • Develop and implement therapy schedules; provide direct, indirect, and consultative PT services as appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid Washington State ESA certificate as a Physical Therapist, or eligible for certification.
  • Preferred background includes experience in multicultural and interdisciplinary educational environments, working with students with limited English proficiency, or prior school-based teaching experience.
  • Solid knowledge of public school operations and current best practices in physical therapy.
  • Possession of a valid Washington State driver’s license.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply evidence-based PT interventions and collaborate within an educational team.
