Job Description
Seeking talented Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP-CCC) for contract roles, serving early childhood students in schools near Holt, MI. Play a key role in supporting students’ speech, communication, and educational growth during maternity leave coverage. Two openings are available across different sites: one full-time in Stockbridge and one part-time in Dansville, running from December 1, 2026, through March 31, 2027.
Candidates should be passionate about working in an educational setting and comfortable collaborating within a multidisciplinary team. You’ll foster essential communication skills for young learners, helping lay the foundation for academic and social success.
Key Qualifications:
- Current, active Michigan SLP license required (no exceptions)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working with early childhood or school-aged populations highly valued
- Skilled in assessment, development, and implementation of intervention strategies
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- SLPAs and VOCO are not accepted for these positions
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language services to early childhood students per their IEPs
- Conduct evaluations, develop and update goals, and maintain records in compliance with school standards
- Collaborate with families, teachers, and support staff to maximize students’ progress
- Contribute expertise during multidisciplinary meetings and professional discussions
- Participate in required professional development as needed
