ProCare Therapy is partnering with a supportive school district in South Chicago, Illinois to hire a dedicated School Psychologist for the 2026-2027 school year. We are seeking a collaborative professional who is passionate about supporting students' academic, behavioral, and social-emotional success through comprehensive evaluations and multidisciplinary teamwork.
Position Details
- Location: South Chicago, IL 60628
- School Year: August 24, 2026 – June 11, 2027
- Schedule: Full-Time
- Grade Levels: 7th–12th Grade
- Setting: Onsite
- Interview Availability: Afternoons preferred
Responsibilities
- Complete all initial evaluations and reevaluations for special education eligibility.
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and interpret evaluation results.
- Prepare reports and complete all required documentation for IEP eligibility and reevaluation meetings.
- Participate in IEP, eligibility, and multidisciplinary team meetings.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, related service providers, and families to support student success.
- Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal special education guidelines.
Qualifications
Qualified candidates must possess:
- Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Psychologist endorsement.
- Strong experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations and writing comprehensive reports.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Previous school-based experience is preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive hourly compensation ranging from $55–$60 per hour, depending on experience, district budget, and assignment.

Travel Opportunities Available
