We are currently seeking compassionate and dependable Paraprofessionals to support students in school-based settings throughout the Kansas City, Missouri area for the upcoming 2026–2027 school year. This is a rewarding opportunity to work alongside educators and special education teams to help students thrive academically, socially, and behaviorally.

Position Details

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom and instructional support to students with special needs
• Assist teachers with lesson implementation and daily classroom activities
• Support students with academic, behavioral, communication, and social-emotional goals
• Help implement IEP accommodations and behavior intervention plans
• Assist with transitions, supervision, and student engagement throughout the school day
• Maintain a positive and supportive learning environment
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other school staff to support student success

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children or students preferred
• Experience in special education, behavioral support, ABA, or school settings is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to maintain professionalism and flexibility in a school environment
