School Psychologist - Strongsville, Ohio

In this contract position, you'll engage with a diverse student population, collaborating with faculty and families to foster academic and social-emotional growth. This role offers a flexible, hybrid schedule—work onsite for five half days or two full days plus one half day weekly, and enjoy the benefit of one day working remotely.

Qualifications and Experience Desired:

• Current license and credentials as a School Psychologist
• Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and interpreting results
• Strong knowledge of IEP processes and legal compliance in educational settings
• Ability to collaborate effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Familiarity with designing and implementing interventions to support student learning and well-being
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify students’ cognitive, academic, and behavioral strengths and needs
• Participate in IEP meetings, offering expert input for individualized program development
• Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to recommend strategies supporting students’ academic and emotional growth
• Provide direct or indirect interventions as needed, including counseling or supporting positive behavioral plans
• Maintain clear, thorough documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines
