Key Qualifications:

  • Valid state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
  • Experience in school settings preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to support students in grades 6-8, as well as transition-age individuals (12+)
  • Familiarity with PPT (Planning and Placement Team) processes is advantageous

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy to students across assigned grade levels
  • Assess and document student progress, maintaining timely and accurate records
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote student success
  • Participate in PPT meetings scheduled within regular work hours
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on student needs
  • Contribute to a positive, inclusive school environment
