Job Overview

The Physical Therapist is responsible for assessing and evaluating patients to create tailored treatment plans that align with their specific conditions. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations of patients.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Patient Age Range: All age groups.
• Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field; coursework in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• Essential Skills:
  • Strong understanding of Physical Therapy theories, procedures, practices, and equipment.
  • Excellent communication abilities with a proactive and positive approach to problem-solving.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of potential hazards, necessary precautions, and remedial measures in patient care.
  • Capability to assess and implement treatment programs for both simple and complex therapy diagnoses.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Licensure/Certifications: Must hold a current Physical Therapy license in Florida and BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Preferred Experience: Background in hospital-based rehabilitation services.
• Preferred Education: Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.
• Required Experience: Less than one year of clinical experience in relevant areas such as acute care or outpatient settings.
