Key Qualifications:
- Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist license required
- CCC or CFY credential accepted
- Experience in schools or with adolescent populations preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Passion for supporting students' academic and social success
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide evidence-based speech and language therapy to students in 5th to 8th grade
- Conduct assessments, develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with school staff, teachers, and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and regulatory requirements
- Deliver engaging therapy sessions tailored to individual student needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
