As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you’ll be a valued resource, helping to unlock communication skills and foster confidence in young learners. You’ll engage with a variety of cases, ensuring each day brings fresh opportunities to make a difference.
What We’re Looking For:
- Master’s degree in Speech and Communication Disorders
- Active and valid SLP licensure in Michigan
- Previous experience in a school-based setting is preferred
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Compassion and flexibility to address a diverse caseload of elementary-age students
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapy to students with varied speech, language, and communication needs
- Consult and collaborate with teachers and family members to support student growth
- Maintain accurate and timely records, recognizing progress and adjusting interventions as needed
- Advocate for students’ needs while helping them reach their full communicative potential
- Commitment to a consistent schedule: 20 hours per week, from August 31, 2026, through June 11, 2027
