Job Description
Step into an exciting opportunity to make a real difference for K-12 students near Manchester, NH! This full-time contract role runs from August 2026 through June 2027, where you’ll provide dedicated support to learners as part of a stellar school team. Two collaborative Speech-Language Pathologists are needed to help shape communication outcomes for students, with manageable caseloads typically focused on 10 or fewer students, many of whom are autistic and utilize AAC devices.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) certification
- Demonstrated experience working in school settings with K-12 populations
- Familiarity with implementing augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices
- Strong understanding of Autism Spectrum Disorder and evidence-based interventions
- Excellent collaboration, organizational, and communication skills
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- State-specific SLP licensure or eligibility by start date
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy and group sessions to students with communication needs
- Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and track student progress
- Consult with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Train and assist staff on the best practices for AAC device use and generalization
- Maintain detailed records and contribute input for meetings, planning, and progress reporting
- Adapt interventions to meet each student’s individual strengths and needs
