Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Active School Psychologist certification/licensure
- Experience conducting psychological and academic evaluations
- Strong knowledge of RTI, IEPs, and 504 planning and compliance
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with staff and parents
- Ability to support diverse student populations across various age groups
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students’ strengths, needs, and eligibility for special education services
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in developing and implementing IEPs and 504 Plans
- Provide consultation and support to teachers, parents, and school personnel regarding student concerns and behavioral interventions
- Participate in crisis intervention and counseling for students as needed
- Assist in prevention programs such as social skills development and positive behavioral supports
- Maintain accurate and confidential records consistent with district, state, and federal guidelines
