School Psychologist - Rochester, NY

You’ll be an essential resource for educators, students, and families—conducting assessments, counseling, and collaborating with school teams to foster a positive learning environment.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
• Prior experience working in K-12 educational settings
• Strong understanding of special education processes, psychological evaluations, and IEP development
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills when interacting with students, staff, and families
• Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently and compassionately

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for students referred for evaluation
• Participate in IEP and student support team meetings, providing expertise and recommendations
• Offer direct counseling services to students, both individually and in groups
• Consult with teachers and administrators regarding academic and behavioral interventions
• Assist in the development and monitoring of progress for students with behavioral, emotional, and social needs
• Support crisis intervention efforts and provide relevant training to staff as needed
