Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting early learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) for a full-time maternity leave coverage. This position spans from February 15, 2027, through May 27, 2027, tailored for those passionate about making a true impact in early intervention and preschool settings.

You'll work directly with children ages 3-5, addressing a broad scope of communication needs—including articulation, receptive and expressive language, fluency, social-pragmatic skills, and the use of high-tech AAC devices. Students present with a range of needs, from mild to more complex communication disorders, allowing you to utilize your expertise and creativity in therapy session design and implementation.

This in-person position offers consistent weekday hours, from 7:15 a.m. to 3:15 p.m., providing the structure you need to balance work and personal commitments. You'll collaborate alongside a highly experienced, full-time SLP within the building, making this a supportive environment for discussion, resource sharing, and professional growth.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid SLP-CCC certification
  • Current state licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Experience in early intervention and/or preschool educational settings
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with high-tech AAC
  • Ability to manage a caseload with varying degrees of communication challenges
  • Commitment to an onsite/in-person service delivery model

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments, develop, and implement individualized therapy plans
  • Track student progress and maintain thorough documentation
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to support each child's communication success
