This full-time position starts August 12th, 2026 and runs through November 4th, 2026, with the possibility to extend. You'll work with K-5th grade students, supporting their social, emotional, and academic growth during regular school hours, onsite only.
Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois School Social Worker License and PEL required
- Prior school-based social work experience strongly preferred
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organization skills
- Passion for supporting young learners and collaborating with families and staff
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct social, emotional, and behavioral support to elementary students
- Develop and implement intervention strategies and individual plans
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to foster student success
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with district and state standards
- Participate in IEP/504 meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
