LHH is seeking a skilled Litigation Paralegal to support a busy insurance defense practice in Orlando, FL. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced attorneys on complex litigation matters while contributing to a collaborative and professional team environment. The ideal candidate is comfortable managing multiple cases in a fast-paced setting. Experience handling medical malpractice defense matters is highly desirable.

Responsibilities
  • Manage litigation files from inception through resolution.
  • Draft and assist with pleadings, motions, discovery, subpoenas, and legal correspondence.
  • Coordinate depositions, mediations, hearings, and trial logistics.
  • Organize and maintain case files, deadlines, and court calendars.
  • Analyze and summarize medical records, expert reports, and deposition transcripts.
  • Assist with discovery management, document review, and production.
  • Communicate with clients, experts, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
  • Support attorneys with trial preparation and case strategy initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of litigation paralegal experience within insurance defense.
  • Background supporting medical malpractice defense cases preferred.
  • Strong understanding of Florida litigation procedures and court rules.
  • Experience preparing cases for trial.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with attorneys and staff.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management systems.

Pay Details: $80,000.00 to $85,000.00 per year
