The Cardiovascular Special Procedure Technologist performs advanced diagnostic and invasive procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. The role demands a strong knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, sterile technique, and advanced imaging technologies to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatments for patients with heart-related conditions. Effective communication with patients and healthcare professionals is essential for providing optimal care.\n

Position Details:\n

\n

Education: Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program and completion of required clinical hours

\n

or completion of RCIS training certification

\n

Experience: One (1) year of relevant experience

\n

Licensure: State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice.

\n

Certification/Registration: ARRT (R) or RCIS; Basic Life Support (BLS)

\n

\n

\n

Preferred Qualifications:

\n

Preferred Education: Bachelor’s degree

\n

Physical Requirements:

• Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis.

• Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.

• Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
