Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent for a direct hire opportunity in Austin, TX. This role is ideal for a field construction leader with a strong background managing residential, commercial, or office construction projects and a proven ability to drive safety, quality, schedule, productivity, and trade contractor coordination.

The Construction Superintendent will lead day-to-day site operations for assigned projects, generally with scopes under $75 million or designated components of larger complex projects. This position works closely with the Project Manager, owners, design teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and field staff to keep projects moving efficiently from pre-construction through close-out.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage on-site construction activities, field operations, site logistics, productivity, work quality, and daily project execution.
- Lead project safety efforts, including site-specific safety plans, safety meetings, toolbox talks, hazard correction, and compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.
- Coordinate trade contractors, suppliers, inspections, procurement, schedules, cost codes, budgets, production tracking, and project documentation.
- Review plans, specifications, construction drawings, schedules, and constructability details to identify issues, prevent delays, and support efficient project delivery.
- Partner with the Project Manager, owner, design team, and internal departments during pre-construction, planning, execution, punchlist, and close-out.
- Support client relationships, proposal preparation, scheduling input, constructability reviews, and future project pursuit efforts.

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary range: $89,000 to $148,000 per year.
