The district is seeking an experienced professional to work in-person, as virtual placements have already been filled.
Key Requirements:
- Current and valid SLP license with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- Previous experience providing speech-language services in a school setting is essential
- Comfortable working in an urban district environment and familiar with middle and high school student needs
- Ability to complete all required Pennsylvania clearances prior to start date
- Reliable transportation to and from the district location
- Availability for a consistent weekday schedule between 7:15 AM and 4:00 PM; no schedule accommodations available
- Confident, adaptable, and committed to onsite service delivery
- Willingness to participate in a Zoom interview as part of the selection process
Primary Duties:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services to students across middle and high school grades
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists to support student success
- Conduct thorough evaluations and develop customized treatment plans
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district policies and state regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to the support team
