Available Assignments:
- Grades K-4 Resource Room Special Education
- Grades 5-6 Resource Room Special Education
- Grades 6-8 Resource Room Special Education
Qualifications:
- Valid state certification in Special Education
- Experience working with resource room or pull-out models is preferred
- Familiarity with IEP development and implementation
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt instruction for a range of learning abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide differentiated instruction to small groups and individual students in a resource room environment
- Coordinate with general education teachers and related service providers to maximize student outcomes
- Develop, implement, and track individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Adapt lessons and materials to suit each student's unique learning goals
- Maintain regular communication with families regarding student progress
- Foster a positive, welcoming, and inclusive classroom atmosphere
