Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification
- Experience or strong interest in preschool or mild/moderate learning disabilities
- Proficient in developing and implementing IEPs
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with families, staff, and students
- Ability to create engaging, differentiated instruction
- Organizational skills to manage caseload documentation and compliance
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instruction tailored to accommodate student learning differences
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom community
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress and needs
- Use data-driven methods to assess and support student growth
- Adapt to evolving student needs and instructional best practices throughout the school year
