Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is for a Clinical Pharmacist specializing in sterile compounding, based in Arlington, TX. The position requires an immediate start and is a 13-week contract role focused on home infusion therapy, blending clinical expertise with patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess patients for eligibility and suitability for home infusion therapy.
  • Develop and modify personalized medication therapy plans utilizing clinical and pharmacokinetic data.
  • Prepare, verify, and dispense sterile medications adhering strictly to USP, state, and federal regulations.
  • Provide education to patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers regarding medication regimens and infusion procedures.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care and monitor treatment effectiveness.
  • Oversee infusion pump management and ensure medication administration equipment quality and safety.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, provide drug information, and support compliance with regulatory and safety standards.

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or graduate from an accredited pharmacy program.
  • Active, unrestricted Pharmacist license in Texas.
  • Minimum of one of the following:• At least 1 year experience in sterile IV compounding.• Experience with non-sterile compounding, immunizations, and Medication Therapy Management (MTM).• Completion of an ASHP-accredited Pharmacy Residency.• Completion of an Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience (APPE).• Equivalent pharmacy experience.
