Pharmacist - Mount Lemmon, AZ

A 13-week contract opportunity is available for a full-time night pharmacist at a 200-bed hospital in Tucson, AZ. This role involves working a 7-on, 7-off night shift schedule, Wednesday through Tuesday.

Responsibilities include:

• Collaborating with physicians regarding drug selection and dosing
• Educating nursing staff, patients, and physicians about medications
• Leading medication safety initiatives
• Reviewing and managing patient medication profiles
• Monitoring and reporting adverse drug reactions
• Preparing IV admixtures and nutritional supplements
• Ensuring narcotic accountability

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Licensed pharmacist with experience in hospital settings
• Strong knowledge of medication management and safety protocols
• Ability to work independently during night shifts
• Proficient in IV admixture preparation and narcotic handling
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

• Tucson, AZ

Schedule:

• Full-time, night shifts
• 7 nights on, 7 nights off (Wednesday to Tuesday)

This position may offer the option to transition to a temporary-to-hire arrangement.
