School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Tacoma, Washington

Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) are needed for onsite roles spanning various school settings, including high school, middle school, and elementary schools. You'll be a key resource for students, supporting their communication growth and academic achievement while collaborating with passionate educators and families.

Your expertise will be highly valued as you provide direct assessments, develop IEPs, and deliver tailored speech and language interventions. These positions are strictly onsite, giving you the chance to foster real connections with students and make a meaningful impact within the school environment.

Desired qualifications and experience:

• Active Washington State SLP license, or willingness to obtain before start
• Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)
• Experience or strong interest in school-based practice (elementary, middle, or high school)
• Willingness to undergo required fingerprinting through OSPI
• Commitment to working onsite—remote/virtual services are not an option for these roles
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct formal and informal speech/language assessments
• Develop and implement individualized therapy programs aligning with student IEPs
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families for integrated student support
• Maintain thorough documentation and timely progress reporting
• Engage in IEP meetings and contribute as an interdisciplinary team member
• Provide consultation and training for school staff and families as needed
