Our client is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer to drive process improvements, increase productivity, and reduce operational costs across multiple manufacturing facilities. This role will focus on optimizing equipment performance, improving workflow efficiency, reducing scrap, enhancing quality, and supporting automation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Lean and continuous improvement projects focused on safety, quality, delivery, and cost savings.
- Identify opportunities to improve throughput, reduce setup times, minimize waste, and increase equipment reliability.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement sustainable solutions to manufacturing challenges.
- Manage multiple engineering and process improvement projects while coordinating with production, maintenance, and external vendors.
- Perform time studies and process evaluations to improve operational efficiency.
- Support safety initiatives and ensure compliance with plant standards.
- Travel periodically between manufacturing facilities to support operations.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
- 6+ years of manufacturing experience.
- 3+ years of project management experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong background in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement.
- Experience with CNC machining, process optimization, and quality improvement.
- Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, controls, and manufacturing systems.
- Proficiency with CAD software
