Pay:$24hr- $29hr (Based on Experience)
Schedule:MondayFriday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM (Additional hours may be required based on bid deadlines)

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analyticalConstruction Estimatorto join our team. This role is responsible for preparing accurate, competitive, and comprehensive project estimates and proposals. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to interpret construction documents and manage multiple bids in a deadline-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, price, and present detailed project proposals to customers

• Review and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications

• Develop accurate cost estimates for materials, labor, and overall project scope

• Ensure proposals are clear, complete, and aligned with customer requirements

• Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary project information

• Manage multiple bids simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines

• Maintain accuracy, consistency, and organization across all estimates

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of construction materials and components, including:

  • Structural steel, plates, and wide flange members

  • Light gauge steel framing

  • Sheet metal components (gutters, downspouts, fascia cladding)

  • Fasteners, sealants, and bolts

  • Canopy lighting, signage, and related systems

• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications required

• Strong mathematical skills (algebra, geometry, and basic arithmetic)

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities

• High school diploma or GED required

• College education preferred

• Construction industry experience preferred

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
