ProCare Therapy is partnering with a school district in San Rafael, California to hire a Special Education Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year.

Position Details

• Full-time opportunity
• Full-year position
• 1 available position
• Resource Specialist Program (RSP) support role
• Provides roving support at the Early Learning Center for a portion of each day
• Supports schools with higher caseload needs throughout the district

Requirements

• Active California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) Mild/Moderate Education Specialist Credential required
• Previous school-based special education experience preferred
• Experience supporting students through RSP services is encouraged

Job Responsibilities

• Provide specialized instruction and RSP support to students with diverse learning needs
• Deliver services aligned with students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with general education teachers, special education staff, administrators, and families
• Support students across multiple school sites as needed
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
• Foster an inclusive learning environment that promotes academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth

Pay

• $38–40/hour (based on experience, credentials, and placement)
