This exciting opportunity invites experienced Occupational Therapists to make a tangible impact in K-12 educational settings throughout the Seattle area. Two contract roles are available: a .8 FTE in South Seattle beginning August 28th for the entire school year, and a 1.0 FTE in Southwest Seattle starting January 4th through the end of the academic calendar. Collaborate with dedicated educational professionals and help students thrive in inclusive, supportive environments.

Ideal candidates excel in adapting their expertise to individual and group needs while fostering independence, participation, and confidence amongst students across kindergarten through high school grades.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current OT licensure in Washington State (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Prior experience in school-based or pediatric settings highly valued
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation requirements
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Commitment to supporting diverse learners of all abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and evaluate students’ functional abilities and needs
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans
  • Document progress and participate in IEP meetings
  • Consult with teachers, staff, and families to promote student access and participation
  • Design classroom and environmental modifications to support occupational performance
  • Deliver direct and collaborative therapy services in a positive, student-focused manner
