Occupational Therapist School Setting in Athens, TN

In this position, you will collaborate closely with educators, parents, and other specialists to assess and address students’ individual needs. You’ll develop and implement tailored intervention plans that inspire young learners to achieve their fullest potential.

What you’ll bring:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license and credentials to practice in the state
• Prior experience working in a school-based or pediatric setting is strongly preferred
• Comfortable providing therapy to K-12 students with diverse needs
• Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
• Ability to collaborate positively with a multidisciplinary team

In this role, you’ll:

• Conduct assessments to identify student strengths and areas for development
• Develop and implement individualized treatment and intervention plans
• Work with teachers, staff, and families to support students' participation in educational activities
• Document progress and maintain thorough, timely records
• Adapt sessions to meet varied learning styles, physical needs, and IEP goals
