Key Qualifications:

• Valid ‘Professional Special Services License’ from the Colorado Department of Education (or proof of application for travelers)
• Experience as a School Psychologist in a K-12 setting preferred
• Excellent communication and interview skills, with the ability to detail your professional experience
• Energetic, positive, and lively demeanor
• Willingness to work onsite
• For travelers: initiative in researching the local area, housing options, and travel logistics

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and interpret results for students in need
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop effective strategies and interventions
• Lead student support meetings, create educational plans, and monitor progress
• Offer crisis intervention and participate in creating a positive school climate
• Maintain detailed and confidential records in compliance with district and state guidelines
