Job Description
Step into a dynamic contract opportunity supporting early childhood students as a Speech-Language Pathologist during two maternity leaves this school year. This unique opening includes a full-time assignment in Stockbridge and a part-time position in Dansville, spanning from December 1, 2026, through March 31, 2027. Qualifications:
- Hold an active Speech-Language Pathology license in Michigan (CCC-SLP required)
- Experience with early childhood populations preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Comfortable developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- No SLPAs or VOCO (virtual-only) candidates
- SLP clinical knowledge specific to school-based practice
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct assessment and therapy services to early childhood students
- Develop and manage comprehensive treatment plans tailored to communication needs
- Document session activities, progress, and outcomes in accordance with school and regulatory requirements
- Consult regularly with teachers, staff, and families to foster student success
- Support inclusion through both pull-out and classroom-based interventions
- Adapt strategies and materials for diverse learners
- Ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines
