About the Opportunity

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist to join a collaborative outpatient rehabilitation team in Skokie, IL. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced rehabilitation professionals in a patient-centered environment treating orthopedic and rheumatologic conditions. New graduates are encouraged to apply.

Schedule

  • Monday-Thursday

  • 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM

  • 4-day work week

  • No evenings

  • No weekends

  • No on-call responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans.

  • Provide evidence-based physical therapy for orthopedic and rheumatologic conditions.

  • Establish functional goals and monitor patient progress.

  • Educate patients on rehabilitation plans and home exercise programs.

  • Collaborate with physicians regarding patient progress and treatment recommendations.

  • Complete documentation using an electronic medical record (EMR) system.

  • Supervise support staff as needed.

  • Determine appropriate discharge plans.

  • Coordinate post-operative patient evaluations and provide rehabilitation guidance.

Patient Caseload

  • Approximately 12 patients per day

  • 45-minute one-on-one treatment sessions

Qualifications

Required

  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.

  • Active Illinois Physical Therapist License.

  • Authorization to work in the United States.

  • New graduates are welcome; outpatient experience is preferred.

Preferred

  • Dry Needling Certification or willingness to obtain certification (certification costs covered by the employer).

  • Pelvic Floor Certification is a plus.

  • Strong communication, clinical reasoning, and patient care skills.
