VIP Staffing is Immediately hiring a Powder Coater II for a great company in Rio Rancho, NM
This is a Full time Temp to hire position with a schedule of Monday- Thursday 6:30am- 5:00pm
Pay for this position is $20.00 per hour
Position Summary
The Powder Coater II supports production by performing intermediate-level powder coating tasks under the guidance of a Trainer or Supervisor. This role prepares, coats, inspects, and finishes parts while maintaining safety, quality, and equipment standards.
Key Responsibilities
  • Powder coating operations including prep, masking, hanging, coating, inspection, and packing.
  • Perform routine maintenance on powder coating equipment and assist with troubleshooting.
  • Move parts before and after painting; operate pallet jack or forklift (if trained).
  • Maintain a clean work area and proper use of PPE, including respirator.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of powder coating or related experience.
  • Mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of coating equipment, production processes, and safety requirements (SDS/TDS).
  • Ability to lift 55 lbs, bend, turn, and wear a respirator (must pass required exams).
