Quality Inspector
Job Description
Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a 2nd shift Quality Inspector to join their team. As a 2nd shift Quality Inspector, you will be part of the Quality Assurance Department supporting production and engineering teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: 2nd shift Quality Inspector
Location: Endicott, NY
Pay Range: $21.00- $25.00 DOE
Shift: Second Shift
What's the Job?
- Examine raw materials, components, and finished products to ensure they meet specified criteria.
- Perform visual inspections, measurements, and various tests to identify defects or deviations from standards.
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, test results, and non-conforming products.
- Report defects to relevant personnel and communicate quality issues effectively.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and management teams to develop solutions for quality concerns.
What's Needed?
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of quality inspector experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience using measuring tools such as calipers, drop gauges, and measuring microscopes.
- Ability to read drawings and specifications and interpret requirements accurately.
- Basic computer skills such as data entry and record keeping.
