Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Inventory Control Specialist to manage inventory records, process inventory transactions, and support accurate materials control within a manufacturing environment. This is an office-based position, requiring professional communication, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced business setting.

Skills and Experience:

Essential Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation.
  • Perform inventory transactions using scan guns and barcode scanners.
  • Process inventory adjustments, substitutions, and related system updates.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Monitor inventory data and prepare reports as needed.
  • Use Microsoft Excel to organize, analyze, and report inventory information, including Pivot Tables.
  • Perform basic mathematical calculations, including equations, addition, and subtraction.
  • Communicate inventory-related information clearly with internal teams.
  • Follow established inventory control procedures and company policies.
  • Maintain confidentiality, accuracy, and professionalism in all business interactions.
  • Support other administrative and inventory-related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience with inventory control processes.
  • Experience using scan guns or barcode scanners.
  • Knowledge of inventory adjustments and substitutions.
  • Basic math proficiency, including equations, addition, and subtraction.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Strong attendance and reliability history.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to exercise sound professional judgment and accountability.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong professional communication skills and business conduct.
  • Ability to work comfortably and professionally in an office environment.
Preferred Qualification
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
