As an Imaging Cath Lab Tech on this travel assignment, you’ll gain valuable experience in a sophisticated clinical setting, deepening your technical and professional skills. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and operate imaging equipment for cardiac catheterization procedures
- Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Cath Lab
- Monitor patients’ condition and ensure safety throughout procedures
- Perform quality control procedures and equipment checks
- Maintain accurate documentation and patient records in compliance with facility protocols
- Adhere to stringent sterilization and infection control procedures
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Desired Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Cath Lab Technologist or in a similar imaging setting
- Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or equivalent, with Cath Lab focus preferred
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong knowledge of imaging procedures, patient positioning, and radiation safety
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, and organizational abilities
