This contract position runs from September 8 through December 23 and offers 35 hours per week.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid SLP license for New York State
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility
  • Demonstrated school-based experience with elementary-aged children preferred
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and documentation skills
  • Ability to adapt therapy techniques to meet diverse student needs
  • Passion for fostering growth in developing learners

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in elementary school students
  • Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educational teams and families
  • Deliver engaging, evidence-based therapy—both individually and in group settings—to maximize student outcomes
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of student progress and related documentation
  • Consult with teachers, school staff, and families to support integration of communication goals within the classroom
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to student support planning
