Job Description
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity serving K-12 students for the 2026-2027 school year! This is an excellent chance for passionate Speech-Language Pathologists to make an impact in a close-knit educational environment near Salem, NH. Two full-time SLPs are needed to work from August 2026 through June 2027, supporting students in a supportive school community.
Working with caseloads typically comprised of ten or fewer students, you’ll help shape communication skills for students with Autism and those who benefit from AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) devices. Collaborative teamwork and adaptability are key, as the needs of the students will guide your daily approach.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Ability to obtain appropriate state licensure prior to the start date
- Previous experience working in school settings and/or with AAC devices and Autism preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and collaborative skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver assessment, diagnosis, and intervention services to K-12 students in accordance with IEPs
- Develop and implement therapy plans focused on speech, language, and communication goals
- Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and families
- Provide recommendations and support for AAC devices and integration into learning environments
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and progress reports
This contract offers a full-time schedule (32.5-37.5 hours per week), providing continuity and the chance to build meaningful student relationships over the academic year.
