Seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to provide essential support to students in a dynamic school environment. In this full-time, onsite contract position, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in students’ lives, collaborating closely with educators and families to foster communication skills and academic success.

This opportunity offers a workload of 37.5 hours per week, providing stability and the chance to build strong relationships with students and staff alike. You will be part of a supportive, professional culture, utilizing innovative techniques to deliver both direct and consultative speech and language services.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • Current SLP license or eligibility for licensure in Virginia
  • Experience in a school-based setting preferred, though motivated new graduates will be considered
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to deliver services onsite and maintain thorough documentation

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language services to a diverse student population
  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student goals
  • Maintain accurate records and progress notes in compliance with school and district requirements
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Advocate for students’ communication needs within the educational setting
