Make an impact supporting students in the San Juan Capistrano area as part of a collaborative school-based Speech-Language Pathology team. We're seeking three passionate SLPs to cover leave of absence assignments across a preschool, middle school, and elementary school. With a full-time, five-day workweek, you'll have the chance to work with diverse student populations ranging from preschoolers to early teens—typically averaging a manageable caseload of about 55 students per SLP.

You'll be instrumental in helping students achieve their communication goals, collaborating with educators, and enjoying a dynamic school environment. These contract assignments begin as early as September, with a strong possibility of extension for the rest of the academic year due to anticipated ongoing needs.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current, active California SLP license
  • Previous experience in a school setting (preferred)
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse age groups and adapt to varying caseloads

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive speech and language services to assigned students
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including educators, support staff, and parents
  • Maintain thorough, timely documentation as required by school guidelines and state regulations
  • Engage in ongoing assessment and intervention for students needing speech and language support
