Key Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist licensure in Nevada
- Experience in school-based, home health, or healthcare OT settings
- Strong assessment and intervention skills for pediatric and adolescent populations
- Familiarity with educational IEPs and compliance documentation preferred
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students to determine strengths and areas for improvement relating to functional participation at school
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in alignment with IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to integrate therapeutic strategies into daily routines
- Maintain thorough, timely documentation in accordance with state and school standards
- Offer recommendations for adaptive equipment or classroom modifications
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional input to help students achieve their best outcomes
