Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist licensure in Nevada
  • Experience in school-based, home health, or healthcare OT settings
  • Strong assessment and intervention skills for pediatric and adolescent populations
  • Familiarity with educational IEPs and compliance documentation preferred
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate students to determine strengths and areas for improvement relating to functional participation at school
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in alignment with IEP goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to integrate therapeutic strategies into daily routines
  • Maintain thorough, timely documentation in accordance with state and school standards
  • Offer recommendations for adaptive equipment or classroom modifications
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional input to help students achieve their best outcomes
