Qualifications & Experience:

• Current certification as a Special Education Teacher
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or a related field
• Experience working with students with diverse learning needs
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate with colleagues, families, and support staff
• Knowledge of IEP processes and instructional accommodations/modifications

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students
• Adapt curriculum and teaching methods to meet the needs of students with disabilities
• Work closely with general education teachers and support staff to deliver inclusive education
• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school, district, and state requirements
• Provide a safe, nurturing, and motivating classroom environment
• Communicate regularly with students’ families regarding progress and support strategies
