Key Qualifications:

  • Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Master’s or higher degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Strong knowledge of psychological assessments and evidence-based interventions
  • Proven ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary school teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Understanding of current best practices for supporting diverse student populations
  • Previous experience working within school settings is highly valued

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments
  • Provide direct and indirect support to students with behavioral, academic, or emotional challenges
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) in partnership with teachers and families
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to advocate for student needs and contribute professional insight
  • Consult with educators and families to support positive learning environments and promote mental health awareness
  • Assist with crisis intervention and support during urgent situations
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
