Gynecologic Oncology Opportunity

Our organization is excited to present a full-time opportunity for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Gynecologic Oncology physician to join a well-established practice in Boise, Idaho.

We are a physician-led multi-specialty group with over 650 providers, seeking a dedicated gynecologic oncologist who values a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach to patient care. This full-spectrum gynecologic oncology practice is part of a dynamic Women's Health Services Program and Women's Specialty Center, featuring a team of two physicians and one physician assistant.

The ideal candidate will deliver compassionate, high-quality care that addresses the body, mind, and spirit. A strong passion for women's health issues, along with a solid surgical background—including training and experience in both traditional open and minimally invasive techniques (laparoscopy and robotic surgery)—is essential. This position is based at our Boise campus and will involve outreach opportunities to enhance our Women's Health Specialty Services across the regionally integrated health system.

Support for this role includes access to two da Vinci XI robots, reconstructive surgery options, cancer care services, clinical trials, genetic counseling, cancer risk assessments, and RN navigation throughout the treatment process.

The work schedule is a traditional clinic week, running Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with flexibility in coordination with partners and the operating room. Call duties are shared equally among eligible providers, with a 1:2 ratio and every third weekend being first call to the Advanced Practice Provider, backed up by a physician.

To qualify for this position, candidates must possess a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree, have successfully completed an ACGME or AOA accredited residency program, and have finished a fellowship training program in gynecologic oncology accredited by the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG). Board certification and subspecialty certification through the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) are required, or candidates must obtain these certifications within three years of employment. An unrestricted full medical license in Idaho and Oregon is necessary to practice across our multi-state network, along with privileges at our Boise campus, SAMC-Nampa, and other affiliated hospitals as needed. A valid controlled substance registration with the Idaho and Oregon Boards of Pharmacy and the DEA is also required, along with training and experience in conventional open surgical techniques and strong minimally invasive skills.
