Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Valid state licensure and ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) or eligibility
• Previous experience working in school settings, preferably with K-12 students
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• An adaptable, collaborative approach to working with diverse student populations
• Ability to conduct assessments and develop treatment plans, both independently and as part of an educational team

Responsibilities Include:

• Evaluate students’ speech, language, communication, and swallowing skills
• Design and implement individualized therapy programs to meet each child’s unique needs
• Collaborate closely with educators, administrators, and families to integrate therapeutic goals into students’ individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Maintain detailed progress notes and necessary documentation in line with district and state guidelines
• Attend meetings and professionally communicate student progress and needs
• Provide guidance and resources to teachers and parents for at-home language support
