Positions are available for both elementary (grades 1-4) and middle school (grades 5-8) students with academic needs requiring Tier 3 or 4 intervention. This contract role runs from August 25, 2026, through June 11, 2027, from 8:15am to 4:15pm each day. Qualifications:
- Valid Tier 3 or Tier 4 Minnesota teaching license in Special Education (required)
- Experience working in Setting III classrooms (required)
- Background supporting students with diverse social, emotional, and academic needs
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Dedication to creating inclusive, supportive learning environments
Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction to students in elementary (Setting II/III) and/or middle school (Setting III) classrooms
- Develop and implement IEPs in alignment with students’ individual goals
- Collaborate with general education staff, parents, and related service providers
- Foster a positive, safe classroom environment
- Monitor and document student progress, making data-driven instructional decisions
