Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- Previous experience in a school-based setting is highly valued
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to connect with students, staff, and families
- Strong organizational skills to manage documentation and scheduling for a full caseload
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services to students individually and in groups, addressing speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special educators, and family members to support student goals and generalization of skills
- Attend and actively participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and staff consultations
- Maintain accurate, timely records and progress reports in accordance with school policies
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive school culture by fostering communication and social skill development
